On-Site Security Training for Aviation Personnel by CASI
This option supports your operation hosting a 1-day Security Training program for your aviation staff at your location. The provider will coordinate with you in advance to customize the day’s plan from a menu of available security topics:
- Personal security management and threat mitigation: timely guidance to boost situational awareness of aircrews and executives; how to become a hard target against potential threats; evolving security trends that merit attention; contingency contacts and response capabilities.
- World travel advice: CASI instructors prepare your flight department based on real-time intelligence and years of overseas experience; cultural considerations for overseas travel to specific locales; recommendations for personal safety and security in the event of natural or man-made crises; options for communications; emergency contacts; and more.
- Active shooter survival: immediate actions you should (and should never) take; better-understand law enforcement response timelines and constraints from review of contemporary examples; discuss different types of active shooters, their motives, and insights to help you survive.
- Kidnap and ransom mindset: considerations essential to physical safety and emotional well-being should you encounter this situation; pre-travel guidance; types and motivations for kidnappings; what you should attempt to do at different stages of a kidnapping; how best to deal with kidnappers and how to stay mentally and emotionally positive until rescue.
- Defensive measure inside your aircraft: Examine what items can be used for defensive and offensive weapons (e.g. silverware, glasses, coffee makers, etc.); methods to de-escalate adverse situations; dealing with drunk or disorderly passengers; how to prevent people from boarding aircraft during attempted hijackings; and more.
- Executive Security Team Support: CASI can conduct tradecraft enhancement exercises with your current executive security team. Joint enhancement exercises are beneficial for the security team’s proficiency and to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are comprehensive and current. Exercises can build teamwork between your security team and CASI in preparation for future real-world collaboration as needed.
This offer provides a $2500 subsidy towards the program’s cost, leaving $4430 plus instructor travel expense (computed and quoted by CASI when finalizing the training plan) to be paid by the policyholder. Training events that require more than one instructor, more than one day of training, or that engage more than one organization’s trainees are possible at added cost.
