ACSF ASAP enrollment/annual renewal
Annual enrollment in Air Charter Safety Foundation's Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) provides a robust process to collect, analyze, follow-through on, and archive employee-reported safety hazards, incidents and concerns. Participating organizations enter an agreement with ACSF and FAA to create a collaborative, unbiased and non-punitive context that fosters positive safety and reporting cultures. ACSF annual membership and ASAP fees are covered by USAIG for organizations with 6 or fewer aircraft and fewer than 25 employees. Larger organizations must already be (or become) an ACSF member to use this offer, and USAIG will fund the annual ASAP fee.

APS-USAIG Basic Upset Prevention & Recovery Course
A two-day course for one pilot that can be scheduled at APS's Phoenix or Dallas locations. Includes 8 hours of classroom instruction covering stall and airplane upset aerodynamics; precursors; recognition and recovery techniques; spin awareness and recovery techniques; and instrument upset recognition and recovery techniques. Interspersed at appropriate points in the academics are three flights conducted in an Extra-300L aircraft with an APS instructor pilot covering 1) Familiarization, foundational concepts and primary control strategies, 2) Stalls, traffic pattern stalls and all attitude maneuvering, and 3) Diverse airplane upset events, wake turbulence encounters and alternate control strategies.
Aircare FACTS Pilot Emergency Procedures Training
A one-day course covering land and water evacuations and in-flight smoke and fire countermeasures using aircraft cabin simulators, hypoxia awareness and controlled induction, wet ditching with underwater egress dunker, and survival and rescue techniques with life rafts and life vests. Courses are held twice weekly at training centers in Dallas, TX and Morristown, NJ. Choosing this option covers course attendance for up to two pilots, who have a full year to select and schedule preferred location/dates and attend the training, together or separately.
